Florida Travel Restrictions. COVID-19 Information
Florida is one of the top travel destinations in the world and there are currently no travel restrictions in place. (04/01/2021)
Persons residing in areas where community-wide movement restrictions are in place should not be allowed to travel for non-essential purposes.
The Florida Department of Health encourages Floridians to follow the three C’s:
- – Avoid closed spaces with poor ventilation that could allow contagious droplets to linger in the air.
- – Avoid crowded places with many people nearby; the greater the number of individuals in an area, the greater the chances of COVID-19 spreading from person-to-person.
- – Avoid close-range conversations and stay at least six-feet from others.
- All persons in Florida over age 65 and/or with a significant underlying medical condition are urged to stay home and to take such other measures as necessary to limit their risk of exposure to COVID-19.
Miami continues with strict restrictions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
There is a countywide curfew in place from midnight to 6:00 a.m. with exceptions for essential workers. All visitors to Greater Miami are asked to comply with this curfew.

Non-US travelers who have recently visited Brazil, the UK, Ireland, and 26 European countries (the Schengen area) cannot enter the US at this time.
The federal government requires all travelers to the US to present proof of a recent negative test for COVID-19 prior to entering and within three days prior to their flights.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also recommends periods of self-quarantine or self-isolation after entering the United States and that travelers be tested 3-5 days after travel.
City of Miami Beach Curfew in the affected area.
From March 24 through April 12, the City of Miami Beach has issued a curfew only Thursday through Sunday nights, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The temporary curfew and state of emergency declaration applies to a concentrated portion of Miami Beach, the area along 5th through 15th streets between Pennsylvania and Ocean Drive.
All other areas in Miami Beach are open for residents and visitors to sponsor after the 8:00 p.m. curfew outside the affected area, such as Lincoln Road, South of Fifth, Sunset Harbor, Collins Park, 41 Street, North Beach, and more.
Restaurants within the affected area are allowed to continue operating for delivery services once the curfew is established.

Residents and visitors are advised to cover their faces if social distancing is not possible, both indoors and outdoors.
Avoid confined spaces, crowded places and close contact environments.
Traveling increases your chances of contracting and spreading COVID-19. Do not travel if you are sick or have been around someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Do not travel with someone who is sick.
